Igloo3 are a recruitment agency specialising in sourcing skilled candidates for roles in low carbon industries. Since 2009, they have helped to secure candidates with expertise and experience in renewable energy technology.
When Igloo3 first approached Carden Digital about improving their online presence, their existing website was several years old. As such, it was outdated, was not optimised for mobile devices and had pages and elements that were broken or missing. Like many websites built up and expanded over an extended period, the result was hard to navigate and had several pages that were too similar to each other.
The most pressing issue for Igloo3 however, was that the existing integration with their job listing system was unreliable. This led to outdated jobs being listed, job listings not updating correctly and candidates visiting the site were no longer able to apply for the jobs that were advertised. After discussing the challenges Igloo3 had managing their current website through their existing CMS, we came to the agreement that the best solution was to build them an entirely new website.
Igloo3 wanted their new website to focus on both sides of the recruitment industry; not just the clients looking to recruit new talent, but also those talented individuals who were looking for jobs in the renewable energy industry.
Using WordPress, we built them a mobile-optimised, modern website. We added functionality like the ability for prospective candidates to upload their CV and a sign-up form for companies to register their interest in working with Igloo3. Our graphic designers helped them to choose a website theme from our suggested options that fit with their brand identity. We then customised it to fit the requirements of a recruitment website and populated the site with high-definition images related to renewable energy. Our SEO team provided content and site structure suggestions. They also added meta descriptions to each page with relevant keywords.
Their new site now synchronises the website’s job listings with Igloo3’s recruitment software. Candidates can also now apply for the jobs directly through the site. Take a look at Igloo3’s new website here.
